adding fourth axis to 3 axes machine

eyad.alim Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I want to add a fourth axis to a 3 axes milling CNC machine. Machine specs: - sinumerik 840D PL / simodrive 611D. - PCU 20 / OP010. - SHOPMILL. fourth axis want to be added: - axis B. - Rotary table. - non simultaneous with x,y,z axes. It only has fixed angels can stop at. - when axis B ordered to be rotated machine axes have to be wait till unclamp the axis B brake then continue the programe, rotating the axis then programe has to be wait again till axis B clamped then continue the programe. so how to put the program in the waiting mode as happening in gear step change. also is this axis B, considered as indexed axis and how to configure.
