dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 10/12/2024 Posts: 12287 Rating: (2685)	Hello Hitman; A default value of a parameter (in this case the start address of your integrated digital I/O) is permanently configured by the manufacturer, in this case Siemens. You, as a user, have no access to change it. You must use the default addresses in your program if you want to connect a sensor or an actuator to the PLC program though these I/O. If what you need to know is "why?" this range of addresses has been selected, may I suggest tea leaf readings, cristal ball analysis or necromancy, if you are desperate.
