addressing Profibus

rus146 Experienced Member Joined: 5/20/2010 Last visit: 3/12/2025 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody! There are eight controllers CPU-300 and nine ET-200M (I made them as slave). All of them are connected in series on the bus Profibus. There is also a CPU-400 (I have it as a master) is also connected to this bus Profibus. All controllers communicate without problems, polls and display the address of the controller (well, at least would show that the controller is wired to the Profibus

Hello, If you want to select the PROFIBUS addresses of limit number of stations, there is an explanation of range and allowable numbers HERE.But if this has been configured , simply upload the whole station with STEP 7 and check the addresses assigned for each modules in hardware configuration.For ET200M, modular slaves, it is possible to check the slave addresses in form of DIP switches on the salve.
