Adquisition Time IbaPDA with cpu 1516F-3 PN/Dp

chikhim Advanced Member Joined: 12/24/2012 Last visit: 5/18/2023 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone! I´m using a CPU 1516F-3 PN/DP, the safety is deactivated and the cycle time the longest is 27 ms. I have a cyclic Interrupt OB every 10 ms and another cyclic interrup OB at 25 ms. The logic is not to much but when i try to acquire some data with IBA, the adqusition time is more than 15 ms and i need 10 ms at least. The network is closed just for test. i have configured in iba 23 tags: 19 analog and 4 bits. i attached the configuration in iba but i'm not sure if have to configure something else in the cpu. The performance is less compared to "TCP/IP". But in fact I would expect a better update time with so few signals. What is your configured update time in S7-Xplorer? And please check the "communication load" setting in the Device configuration of your CPU1516. The default is 50%. Are you using HMI devices? Is the ibaPDA performance getting better if you disconnect them?
