After installing iOS 11.2.1 on iphone7 the application Sm@rtClient App crashes

BIG ISSUE!!!!!

After installing iOS 11.2.1 on iphone7,

when you connect to a device, the application crashes.

The device is controlled with "SmartClient" for 2 years and never had problems. Only after installing iOS 12.2.1 no longer works.

The same device is still checked without problems from an iPhone with iOS 11.1.2 (penultimate version).

HELP HELP HELP!!!!

I have the same problem. But if I start the connection in landscape the app starts normal.

I was in contact with the department which is responsible for this app. They told me, that this issue will be fixed. They are working on a solution. I'll be back as soon as possible when more detailed information is available.

I'm curious how simple it can be, maybe you can tell us. Also I expect due your ideas that Siemens need change everything everytime due other Vendors make their business without think about some compatibility. Of course, this isn't their business, like Windows... I don't want to be on Siemens side for every chance but also think about like programmer. Therefore I wait for your idea about that simple solution. Or you aren't programmer?
