I am using sick dme4000 ssi absolute encoder with smc30. I have done following setting P0407[1]-100000 nm (resolution is 100 um) P0422[1]-100000 nm G1_XIST1-4 G1_XIST2-4 Positioning data length -24bits Problem observed is everytime after power on off need to perform referencing. Reference point set bit turns off after power on off. Referencing gets lost after power on off ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, maybe you forgot to adjust your absolute encoder. There is a SIMATIC Function block available, which you can use for adjusting the absolute encoder, in case you use a SIMATIC S7-1200 or 1500 CPU. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109760317 |
