Hi, First off all it would be nice to know which AI-card you have and 2nd what do you want to measure..... It is now a very open question..... But I could give you some information about the AI, have you seen the Getting Started for the AI cards: SM331; AI 8x12 Bit Getting Started part 1: 4 -20mA SM331;AI 8x12 Bit Getting Started Part 2: Voltage and PT100 SM331; AI 8 x 12 Bit Getting Started part 3: Thermocouples For I-measuring: You have to check if your transducer is a 2-wire or a 4-wire transducer.... A two wire transducer (in Siemens speaking) is a transducer that gets the power (24V DC) from the AI-card, a four wire transducer have his own power and only the signal is read back to the AI. For wiring please see the manual: S7-300 Module data(if it is an S7-300 module.....) |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |

first i'd like to thank you for your ansewers. in our installation we have an AI Card for 2wires transducers (pressure, vibration transmitters), so there is SM331; AI 8x12 Bit: 4 -20mA. we haven't found the origine of alarms, because we take the mesure of vibration by another instrument (hand slot for inspection men: VIBROMEETR), ther isn't any alarmes. and the alarmes is coming from all the trasmetters wired in same card. thank you for your help. salutations |
