AI3 and AI4 not working on 0BA8 12/24RCE

nitro_nitro Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have a LOGO 0BA8 12/24RCE I made a program using 4 AIs and when I download the program to the LOGO I'm informed that it will change mode to 4 AIS and then reboot. I can not see that is reboots and I only get one(?) reading on AI3. AI1 (I7) and AI3 (I1) are connected to the same signal and shows about 700, but AI3 is stuck on one value. Shown through the web server. It seems AI3 switches back to digital. Next time I download from PC to LOGO, I once again is informed that the settings differ between the LOGO and the program and it will switch to 4 AIs and reboot. I don't have a display on my LOGO so I can't program the AI mode that way. Is there any other way to permanently switch to 4 AIs?

ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/4/2023 Posts: 31545 Rating: (3920)	This is probably due to the fact that default is only 2 AI activated in the basic module. If you want to use AI3 and AI4 of the basic module, you must activate 4 AI. You can set it here: File> Properties> I / O Settings Afterwards, the program has again to the LOGO! be transmitted. nitro_nitro Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have enabled 4 AIs and that's why it say there is a different setting in the LOGO on transfer from PC. Since I get one reading from AI3 at download is seems like it tries to change from 2 to 4 but then it switches back to 2. AI1 and AI3 are connected to the same source and the "one" value I get on AI3 corresponds to the readings I continues get on AI1.

ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/4/2023 Posts: 31545 Rating: (3920)	Have a micro sd card in the LOGO! and on the Card an old program with the setting on 2AI? Then the LOGO! changed the setting of 4AI changed to 2 AI as every restart..

nitro_nitro Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Now it finally works, I switch from 2 to 0 and then to 4 and now it is working. Not sure if switching to 0 solved it, anyway now it works as expected and I can use AI3 and AI4.

AI3 and AI4 did not function properly. See the description above. Everything was done according to the handbook, theory, and human logic. To be more precise, in the software Logo!Soft the corresponding tick was set to activate 4 AI. Didn't work. Also the trick to select first 0 AI didn't work. Firmware was 1.82.01. Logo!Soft Comfort was 8.2.0. We solved the problem by activating the 4 AI using the TD display. After that all problems were gone. Took us only 1/2 day :-( Cheers
