Aknowledge of Alarms in WinCC Flex with OP7B

Georgii Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello All, I am developing a project in a OP7B with WinCC Flex but in my project on the Step 7-400 one bit sets my alarm and other bit reset my alarm and when I try to aknowledge the alarm in the HMI it does not aknowledge. In the manual it says that I do not need to put any events on the aknowledge button but I am starting to think that I willl have to put. Does anybody can help me? Thanks in advance! Rodolfo Georgii

(You have to select the alarm you want to acknowledge ) Perhaps this link might give you another oppertunity: how can I acknowledge alarms in WinCC flexible via the PLC? Best regards, Wizard

R. Georgii Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello Wizard, Thanks to the reply and links, I will read them. But let me explain my issue better. First of all it is a OP77B not a OP7B as I have said before. And what I need is simple but I am not getting it. I need to show the alarms or events on the screen as soon as they appear on the program and I heva a button outside the HMI to aknowledge them, I do not want to use the ack button on the HMI. When they are aknowledge they can disappear of the screen... Thank you again, Rodolfo

When there is an alarm it will pop up. About acknowledging: Have a look at the second link from earlier post. Acknowledge the Alarm by PLC. Best regards, Wizard

The alarm view is also in the template screen, but is there any other way to make the alarm view pops up in the screen if it is not placed in the template screen? If it is in another normal screen because when I place it in the template screen it appears in all screen and I wanted to make it invisible when everything is normal and only when an alarm occurs it appears... Georgii, You can have a look at properties of Screen, here you can select whether you want to use Template in that screen or not. When there is no Alarm, the Alarm Window will not pop up. Only when there is an Alarm, it will pop up. You can use an Alarm Viewin a Screen, but it will not pop up, when there is an alarm. You have to select that screen. (It could be done by PLC, by changing value of Tag you can select an predefined screen to be on front.) Best regards, Wizard
