Pee Ell Sea, I have HMI Advanced. I let it start-up automatically. Everything comes up fine, all the axis show and I don't have any problems like it is not talking to the NCU, all the text above the alarm in red is correct (i.e. nothing is ??? or ###, so I know it is communicating to the NCU and when Iopen"diagnostics" soft keyI have comm). I spoke with support and they have never heard of the alarm before, so they are contacting Germany. Here is what I found on the following link in regards to this error, but it does not supply a resolution. So that is why I think it has something to do with the eps network and maybe I need to turn it off. I will try that first when I get into work tomorrow. I appreciate your help and thanks for the reply, let me know if you think of anything else. http://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/pdf/SINUMERIK_SIMODRIVE_09_2009_E/EPS_PH.pdf?p=1 "149001 No boot script available Error description: The system was not able to fetch the boot script from the server. The system cannot function in this state. If this error is not corrected, the only ePS function that can be used is "Remote Control". One of the following problems can cause this error message: • The server is not available. • The URL address for MHComm.asmx specified during installation is incorrect. • A problem occurs with the connection to the Internet (e.g. a Proxy was not configured on the PCU). • The connection used is incompatible with the system. Hi, Thanks for letting us know the answer Did you initially switch on eps network services yourself or did the system automatically enable it ? Pee |
