Alarm 300201

ATSTech Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I currently have a machine that is down and I am looking for some advice. The control is a Siemens 840D PL with NCU Version 06.05.24 (6FC5250-6BX30-5AH0); PCU50.3 (6FC5210-0DF33-2AA0); and HMI Version 06.04.21.01. The NCU is a 573.5: 933MHz 64MB (6FC5357-0BB35-0AA0). The issue I am having is when the control powers up, or you perform and NCK Reset the alarm 300201 is generated. "Axis 0 Drive 0 timeout during access, error location". This machine does not have an axis 0. This machine is a 10 axis Gear Grinder produced by Niles. The LED's on the NCU do not indicate any errors, as only the top green LED's for both the PLC and NCU are lit and steady. The 7-segemnt display shows a number 6. No other faults are being generated in addition to the 300201 fault. Also, since this fault has started to occur, the Drive MD button is "greyed out" and we are unable to access this section. Everything else, we are able to get into just fine. This machine does have an Axis monitoring module: UEB-Modul INT/EXT (6SN1117-1AC01-0AA1), and I am leaning towards the issue being caused by this module. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have read the manual in regards to this alarm and how it tells you to contact Siemens and reference Alarm 1000. I have also read about that alarm as well. Thank you in advance!
