Alarm Acknowledge on Multiple Comfort Panel TP900 and Problem with RSE messages

RaiMahi Posts: 47 Rating: (0)	Hi. I have three different set of problems: 1) I am using two TP900 panels. Both have identical screens downloaded in them. Both have same Alarm view with acknowledge button. If I acknowledge an alarm , I have to do it on panel A and panel B separately. What I want to do is that if I acknowledge alarm on Panel A than it can be communicated to other panel automatically so that there is no need to do it separately. 2)I am using TIA for HMI and Step 7 V5.5 for PLC programing (Becoz TIA does not give me an option of H station). I use TAG CONVERTER for tag communication. I have configured RSE in STEP 7 but messages are not reaching HMI?????? 3) I want to automatically switch the communication between HMI and PLC to the second CPU if first CPU fails. The link given to me before has given the procedure in case where WINCC FLEXIBLE project is integrated with STEP 7. I am using tag converter as STEP7 V5.5 cannot be integrated with WINCC in TIA so how can i do the switching?? Regards

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, for first issue you can definea plc tag as acknowledge tag. use the same tag on both hmis. for second and third issue maybe it's an option for you to update to wincc v13? working with step7 v5.5 and v13 is a lot easier! see the first document in this article: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/73502293 Alternatively you can use the system function "Change connection" to switch the communication partner. RaiMahi Posts: 47 Rating: (0)	Hi K!ke I m still looking for solution. I use system error 40001 for checking communication. An on basis of this error i change connection. The problem is this error only generates when CPUs are turned OFF. There is no system alarm generation when CPUs are in STOP mode. I need info about when CPU goes in STOP mode. Thanx

If CPU is stopped I want to change connection from CPU 0 to CPU 1. I used system event 14001 that give disconnection error, but this event only occurs if CPU is powered off. I have no system event for CPU STOP mode. I cannot set Clock memory byte in H station as well. so how can i know the status of CPU thanx

I am using tag converter to communicate data between wincc 12(TIA) and STEP 7 V5.5 becoz TIA does not suppoert H station. That method needs two connections to be imported. Secondly I dont want automatic switches. I have provided buttons on HMI so that connections can be switched. I just want to give an indication that CPU has STOPPED and it is time to switch to the CPU that is in RUN mode.
