Alarm and tag logging

The project type is standalone single user (customer request). I need to lock the alarms groups and the tag logging archives of all the areas of the plant that are not controlled by a particular HMI (from the startup of the runtime!!!!). How can I do this? Thanks

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, For the alarm system you can lock messages, meaning they will not be triggered, or logged. If you wish to stop/start archiving on event, you can use a cyclic-selective acquisition type, for instance, and set the start and stop events. Is this what you need? Best regards, Danielle

Hi, You can use the function TLGLockArchiv to enable or disable the acquisition of a archive, by archive name. See the faq: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/218573 For lockgroup messages exists the function MSRTLockGroup. Its necessary an HANDLE of MsgService to use this function. You can get a HANDLE of MsgService using the function MSRTStartMsgService, when the HANDLE be not more necessary, you will have release him using the function MSRTStopMsgService.
