       I too have the issue with alarm buffer. In TIA portal , i created a new user defined alarm tag for hmi. Assigning the tag as buffer, showing proper alarm message. The PLC is running 24/7.  The issue is the alarm buffer is not showing the proper date and time. Every day it changes the date and time of the current date, without the condition being not satisfied.

I have checked the wires and they were perfect. I believe there is no lose connection.

Someone please help me to sort this out

Hi rahul,

First you need to check whether HMI is showing correct Date and Time.

As Alarms and Historical Data gets logged as per HMI time.

If HMI is not showing correct Date and Time then you first need to update HMI time as per current Date and Time then this link may be help you.

I am using the TP 1200  basic

From the data sheet of the hmi, the user can use up to 1000 bit messages. In my project I am using 2 alarm table. 

Also i am using alarm buffer to record the history. the table records around 250 entries. i have checked the time synchronization.

The main issue is whenever i jump to the alarm page the buffer alarm history changes to current time and date.

This issue occurs continuously when i jump to that page.

Some one who knows about alarm buffer, please help me.

what will happen if the bit message exceeds the count of the hmi.

for example 1000 bit message is allowed but using 1500 messages.

using 6 alarm buffer table, which shows 250*6 messages
