Alarm color code query

Ganesan Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Dear all, Pls guide me to solve this problem. I am in requirement of providing the following color codes for alarms- 1. For alarms came in and unacknowledged : Red flashing 2. For alarms came in and acknowledged : Red steady 3. For alarms went out and unacknowledged : Blue flashing 4. For alarms went out and acknowledged : Grey I have configured for the first three categories. And they appearproperly in the message list. For the fourth one, (went out and acknowledged), it appears in the long term archive list.This is ok,but the color remains red. I could not find the setting for configuring the color (i want as black) for this category. Help me reg this. Ganesan

The reason is, for any message type (in a message class), only 3 color settings can be done: - Came in - Went out - Acknowledged See attachment. Maybe should I look for some eyeglasses. Sometimes, in software development, it's difficult to have the confirmation that something *doesn't exist. I populated the alarm list with the status field, and I certainly see if the alarm is "Came in", "Went out" OR "Ack". Just to be sure I was clear, my question is: in the history list, is it possible to see if an ACKNOWLEDGED* alarm is "Came in AND acknowledged" or "Went out AND acknowledged"? If the answer is in the status field, I don't exactly know how to do that... could you please explain? Thanks in advance for all responses. Nicolas

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (278)	I do not know if you can combine came in & acknowledged or went out & acknowledged in one status. But you can configure your alarm list to be able to see all three states. Double click on the WinCC Alarm Control and in the Message Blocks tab, check Status and Acknowledged. See attachment. nicwincc Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello, Thanks for your very helpful response. Now, in the alarm list, I can see the difference between a "came in and ACK" alarm and a "went out and ACK" alarm. Unluckily, in the history list the "acknowledged" field is not fill ("Etat d'acquittement" in French). Please see attachment for a better explaination.
