Alarm Count

Using Group Messages you can determine if there is an alarm active in the system.

I would:-

• Create a Group Message in the Alarm Logging Editor and assign all my alarms to it.
• Create a status tag for the Group Message.
  This status tag uses two bits - one to indicate if any of my alarms are active and the second to indicate if they need acknowledging. You can obviously ignore this second bit as your alarms are not being acknowledged.
• Use the status tag in a dynamic dialog to indicate on a screen if any of my alarms are active.
