Alarm logging and status tag update problem

vidarv Posts: 66 Rating: (1)	Hia all! First som details on my set-up: I have created user defined group messages "Group1" with a status tag "Status" (Unsigned 16 bit). I use the dedicated bit in the status tag to show acknowledgement status for alarms in the group. This works fine, but from time to time it stops, alram logging still works fine, but the status tag is not updated and will not indicate acknowledgement status. If I reset the messafe archive in the tag logging the system again works as intended, but this is of course not a good fix. Can anyone help? Best regards V

Any ideas what's causing this ? Is WinCC restarted when this happens or what ? I don't know if it's related but it's definitely suspicious. The application have crashed a few times, but I suspect this was caused by use of "remote desktop" connection to the server, the server does not seem to like beeing controled over "remote desktop" !? Runtime has in addition been started and stopped a lot of times manually by me. In what logfile do you see the crash info? How is this displayed? Status tag is set by the function i properties for the user defined group message in alarm logging application, se attachment.
