Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, It is possible to create text files with vb or c script. After the creation you can manually import them into the alarm logging. As far as my knowledge goed, it's not possible to update the alarm logging by vb or c-script. At least not in runtime. Maybe it's possible to write/adjust the database field entry's in configurationby means of a vb or c script, but I surely wouldn't recommend it. Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I am assuming that you wish to update the alarm configuration but correct me if I am wrong. You should note that as of WinCC V6 SP3, on-line changes to the alarm system is no longer recommended. Instead you need to either a) deactivate Runtime to make the changes OR b) use an engineering station to make the changes and download the changes to your WinCC system using the Load Online Changes Editor. I know this isn't answering your question but it's an important point to remember. Regards, Salma
