Alarm Parameters Synchronization

I have several alarms that were intended to capture the state of certain variables. I have them setup as alarm parameters. Unfortunately, it seems the trigger arrives ahead of the parameters. Is there a way to get over this? I would have liked to get a snapshot of the value of the parameter at the time the alarm is triggered. Thanks
