Alarm Popup

Hello everyone,

I am using Simatic Wincc in TIA V11 Professional. I want that when alarm comes popup screen should come on screen like wincc flexi. but cant find popup Alarm window to configure. It is must requirement for system. is there any other configuration??

May be you dont understand my question. I am asking solution for SCADA wincc professional Tia v11. but for reference i have mentioned wincc flexi that i have this type of requirement.

what william meant is you can do it the same way as you do it in wincc flexible. You need to add the Alarm window in the Global screen.

It is a SCADA question; not a panel question.
How I use the WinCC portion of TIA is to create for panels.
But the need is for PC runtime development.

Normally we do not have Pop-up alarm windows in SCADA, instead there is a permanent alarm windows in the header / footer which shows the latest 1 - 5 alarms depending on the window size..

However, it is possible and we have done it in SCADA before ( In WinCC7 .. I have not yet tried this onWinCC Professional V11 ).Here is how we did it in WinCC 7.0 :

a) Create a Window on the WinCC Base screen ( So that it is visible on all screens )

b) Define a WinCC Alarm control in this window with DIsplay filter as per your requirements.

c) Create an Internal tag in Horn Editor which will get set everytime a new alarm arrives.
You can also assign a audio sound in the Horn editor for new alarm if you want.

d) Link the visibility ofof the window to this internal tag. ( Visible when Horn Tag = True )

e) Create a Reset Buton to Reset this Tag in the Popup window / header / footer

This way whenever a new alarm arrives, the Alarm Popup will display and will disappear when The Reset button is pressed.

I will have to check and let you know if the same is feasible in WInCC Professional V11,
meanwhile youcan try out the same yourself and let us know your experience.

I search everything but unfortunatly I can't find Any Base screen option in TIA V11.
But Is is possible to implement your Point b to e by configuring alarm window in all the screens???

Unfortunately I do not have WinCC Professional V11 installed currently. Will try to install and check over next couple of days.

BTW is there the Template Option in WinCC Professional V11 ( As in WInCC Advanced V11 ).. if so then you can use it.

Yes,you can configure in all screens .. but then it is quite cumbersome ...
