AlexAnd Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	How can I get parameters from ALARM_S message other than in six words format? My AS (S7-300) program sends string (8 characters) and one real value. I need to show them on the text field of a message. Step7 compilation just creates #RawEvent tag and some messages with DB number in text field (very informative). My efforts to make something like @1%s@ shows nothing. But @1%d@ works fine. Is there other way than "use ODK"? Does anybody know something about how NRMS7PMC.NLL working and WinCC "raw event" processing? I just don't want to do the things that Siemens have to do . By the way, WinCC flexible at my OP177B panel shows all fine.

WinCC 6.0 SP4.I've got alarm messagesbut parameters goes in 6 words (Process value 1,2,...6).Format @1%s@ doesn't work - I guess, it needs char* pointer, not char;char. Format @1%c@ shows onlysecond character. Moreover,i have no clue, how topull outa floating-point value. Am I the first personin thistrouble?At last, may be somebody hasnrms7pmc.nll source? I'mso tired of reverse-engineering works.

I have no information aboutthis dll (nrms7pmc.nll). It forces me to look inside, I've found many registry keys, but it's likewander indarkness.It alsohas a huge hidden dialog (not understandable - english translation is absent), that can be opened in alarm logging editor.

It's annoying becuase the alarms display correctly on a MP377 HMI panel and on the CPU's inbuilt webserver but cannot display in WinCC, strange! Moderators, can you please help. Regards Will.

AlexAnd Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Almost 5 years have passed, several versions of WinCC went by but Siemens did nothing fo fix the bug! TIA Portal v11 can show only real value, but still no strings (panels show all fine). They made alarms on panels and SCADA much simplier and comfortable but WINCC STILL DOESN'T WORK WITH STRINGS IN PARAMETERS! It forces me to hack that damn nrms7pmc.nll up ones more, but SIEMENS! FOR HOW LONG SHOULD I DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU, FOLKS?! P.S. Fortunately, I've avoided hacking, by making stupedous ascii lookup table for byte-indexing on it for the each character in string . The nrms7pmc.nll seems to work properly. I only had to add Additional text 1 in alarm message especially for WinCC with index. After doing that got my real-value rounded on panel - another strange bug (my panel don't have additional text fields). I don't even speak about differences in time of incoming alarm messages on panel (UTC ) and PC (local) - also long-lasting bug from the past. Still, guys, please, make your HMI-devices and SCADA working one way! Different behavior really makes a lot of headache.
