Hi

I am new to LOGO and I have been trying to design an alarm system for low coolant levels on multiple generators

Each engine has 2 float switches, when one switch closes it lights up 2 lights on the panel (engine number and either the radiator or aftercooler light.

At the same time a flashing light will illuminate and a siren will sound.

the problem I am having is I want to be able to silence the siren for 5 minutes with the use of a push button on the panel, but I can not seem to find the correct timer to be able to solve the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Check,This will help you as per ur req.

-Siren will on again after timer done if Fault = True.

-Siren will "STOP" when "Quit"  and it will agin "START" when fault "Off to On".

Thanks for your reply, I am not sure if it is working the way I am thinking it should.

The way I am trying to get it to work is, the fault is detected and the alarm sounds, the operator then silences the alarm, the timer starts running, if the fault is not corrected in the allocated time the alarm will sound again.
