Alarms and Faults

Hello! 

There is many topics about G120 fault codes and alarms. I also got a alarm and fault codes into my HMI system but I face a problem now where I cannot read the alarm or fault code from a drive. 

Can sombody please refer some material about that. 

My system in simplyfied way is S7 1500 (1515F) and G120C drive (Telegram 1). I am using sinaspeed to control it and sinaspeed block does not pass me fault or alarm code of the drive. Forexample if I switch off circuit braker. I can read alarm code frem G120C diagnostic windows but Sinaspeed does not show me any fault code.

There was also sample program to visualize alarms on HMI but if I try to convert it to V15.1 it gives me error. so I dont have access to any example at moment. 

If the fault code appears in online & diagnostic window I want to read that code into program to make further decisions. Is there any routine for that witch could be useful for any profinet device.

With Technology object I have less PLC recource if its not technology controller isnt it?

Okay! Its good to know. I have been avoiding those technology objects for servos and converters. I have got feedback that it takes lot of recourses from PLC.

But thanks for response. It was very helpful. For others: I used SINA_PARA S block. Dont get confused with S it works for G drives also. Ofc its not straight plug and play you need to do few tricks like conveting recived value from Lreal to INT, WORD as you like. And you need also use some frequency bit for the block to get update over some time. Otherwise you will be stucked on one code. But now I have Alarm log on HMI screen what I have created with parser program from G120C xml.
