Hello colleagues,

I need your help with alarms log displaying. I work with TP900 basic panel connected to 1214C PLC, using TIA 15.1.

I created alarms screen and alarms history screen. The alarms in real time work good, but the history screen remains empty. Please see the screenshots. The configuration is made according to videos I found in the net. What could I have missed?

Normally we use the internal alarm buffer. 

About the alarm log.. do you know if the USB drive is accessible to the HMI? Do you know if a new log file is created when the HMI starts up?

The USB (disk-on-key) was empty when I checked it.                                        I didn't try to use alarm buffer, I'll try it. This looks better solution for me. I don't need a big history list.

There is a trick to make the alarm log work. I do not have my notes with me to tell you the details accurately. The system messages should guide you if the log file is created. The correct USB device may not be the first one on the list. The USB jumpdrive should also be of the older USB V2 types and the format too.

About the internal buffer - there is one setting that is important and is regularly overlooked. See the picture for the persistence setting.
