Hi Sbartoc, yes you are correct ..it is nothing but an alarm buffer.. for basic panels it can have maximum of 128 alarms retentive. alarm buffer range 8.9 chapter |

Dear Sbartoc, We are here to help you pls....we wont let u to suffer is not our aim...we are sorry for it. 1.have you understood configuring an alarm?? 2.what is the KTP you are using 1st generation(eg.6AV6 647-0AK11-3AX0) or 2nd generation(eg.6AV2 123-2DB03-0AX0)??pls share the order no 3.If you are using an 1st generation HMI data logging is not possible only alarm buffer possible pls find the attachement 3.if you are using 2nd generation HMI (new HMI launched by siemens recently in ktp series) you can have data logging and alarm logging.
