All indicators are burning CPU 313

Andre van der Horst Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with a CPU313-C 2DP. During testing and normal function sudenly all the leds on the CPU where on and of course everything stopped. Now what is wrong? Is the CPU broken...... i can't find (yet). Does anyone now? Andre van der Horst

Is the CPU broken...... i can't find (yet). Hello Andre van der Horst are all LED's constantly lit or are they all flashing? If they are flashing it indicates an internal system system error of theCPU and chapter 10.8 of the SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Installation manual has more info on what to do next (see also chapter 10.2 on how read and save the service data whichthe guys fromSiemens Service & Support will need in this case). AllLED's constantly lit is not really defined in the above manual (and I never had this case either), see if you can get access to the CPU's diagnostic buffer in this case to find out more and let us know if they really constantly lit as others may haveanswers for this scenario. I hope this helps

Andre van der Horst Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your reply. all LED's constantly lit. I even cant find the CPU with accessible nodes, not on profibus or on MPI. Maked the whole PLC standalone, (disconnect the three CP342's) no reaction just the led's contantly burning. really think the CPU is broken. I will try some things today but not be able to acces it is very strange.

The old PLC is broken for sure, above the PLC was a powersupply mounted with some plastic mountingdevice (i think not a very stable mounting decice of siemens). In that mountingdevice is a metal spring that was fallen down into the.......... So we can learn that probebly all lights mean shortcut of the PLC. Thank you for the support.
