am2 or am2 pt100

underground-life Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	i have a small project to built and i want to know the best solution. So 2 sensors had to be connected one pt100 and one high pressure, both are 4-20ma so the best choise for that is am2 or am2-pt100 ?

Fux Posts: 661 Rating: (123)	Hi, if i understand you right, you PT100 has a measuring transducer to 4-20mA. Then you need an AM2. AM2 PT100 is for a direct connection of PT100 sensors. http://www.automation.siemens.com/logo/html_76/products/01LOGO/03Extensions/03LOGO_AM.html
