AM2 RTD gives only 1 value

Wijnmalen1 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I am trying to use a AM2 RTD with 1 PT100 but i only see as result -50 degree. Simulation works ok. The other (unused) input gives also -50 degree. I measure the PT100 and this one looks also ok. I tried one of the examples with using PT 100

What logo you have there? If you have a Logo with analog inputs onboard you maybe are looking at the wrong inputs. It's best to bridge unused input with a resistor. I used the 3 wire connection Re: What logo you have there? I have a logo! 12/24RC, DM8 24R and a AM2 RTD. Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, check: + Slider at the EM must be at the left side + AM2 RTD must be powered At the LOGO! display check the status of the AI. Depending on the LOGO! Setting you PT100 sensor may be at a different possition as expected. LOGO! 12/24 at default possition and the AM2 RTD is the first analog module at LOGO!, then it must be AI3 or AI4 If LOGO! is configured to use 4 AI onboard, then it shoudl be AI5 + 6. If you AM2 RTD is not the first one, then you have to count or check with the status on the LOGO! display what channels is used. You also can check the LOGO! Manual to understand how to expand LOGO! and what the channel number is. Hope this helps
