About the information you posted I can tell you that a L2 Sync is an synchronization on Layer 2 of the PROFIBUS interface. The cause of the Frame error can rarely be told just by seeing it on the display only if you know the surrounding conditions... e.g. a new node has been connectedor anything like this... you may be able to tell something.
