an audit trail file each day

my customer would have  audit trail  and alarms archives archived each day in a different folder

First problem is to filter archives to have daily messages thenmake a script to rename a file with date in the name.

Did anyone face with some of this with wincc runtime advanced v13?

here is an application example that uses a VB script to split  a date to create folders with the year/month/day/hour.

I think you can use the method to create the string for your file name.

In short: it uses DateAdd() and Now to get the date and Hour(), Day(), month(), Year() to dissect the date.

in short:

• make a scheduled task which is executed daily
• run a script with this task
• use system functions to close/move/start archives

Then the exported audit trail files contain the timestamp of the export-time.

Ok thanks, i 'm going to focus on it

p.s.

1. with the scheduled task , first i have to close archives so i will have a period (second) with no registrations, right?
2. with scheduled task i copy and move the archive with the new name, then i have to use function "clear archive" to have an archive with ONLY new records, right?
