Hello everyone . I need to create an interface between an s5 (6ES5103-8MA03) and a HMI last generation (comfort panel). Is there any software or hardware that will allow me to communicate? Thank you.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, You should forget about the comfort panels in this case because they don't support your S5 CPU. I advise you to chek out the panels from these two vendors below. Some of their HMI panles still do support your old S5 CPU. https://www.beijerelectronics.com/en/Products/software/ix-hmi-software/Driver___list or https://www.proface.com/en/product/soft/gpproex/driver_plc You need to check for these interfaces. SIMATIC S5 CPU Direct or SIMATIC - S5 PG/AS511 In case you insist to use a comfort panel you need to replace the S5 with a S7 CPU. Best Regards. |
