Hello, No, it is wrong,The total capacity of process image(input/output) is 8192 bytes. Your final configuration should be within this limit.Note, each module occupies certain number of bytes on process image.For example, a digital input with 32 channel occupie 4 bytes on the input PI.For numbers, you mentioned ,you may need 2 CPUs to ,ideally, cover all modules.It is an ideal number and you will not reach that because of other constrains. Hi Hamid, Thanks once again. Now last question. In table it is mention process image size.
So including Digital input & Analog input I can connect maximum 8192 byte and same for digital output & analog output 8192 byte. For analog input & output we are reading & writing values outside the process image e.g PIW 512 & PQW 512. So as you saidtotal capacity of process image(PI) is8192 bytes this limitation is not applicalble to AI & AQ ? Please let me if I am wrong. Waiting for your reoly. Regrads, Yogendra G. |

Hello, You can adjust the size of process image for both cases , input process image and output process image.As it is mentioned in the Spec, this is adjustable and default value 256 set for size of process image for input and output parts.If you fail to notice this and use address out of this range, you will work with peripheral addresses.
