Hi!! it seems that your sensor is not ready for industrial use, it needs a temperature sensor and to be linealized.... i recommend you to use an industrial ready humidity sensor like this http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Humirel/HM1500.pdf ROSA |

Thanks! These look a lot easier to use (0-10 V linear signal) Only problem will be availability and price !!??! Also, the sensor originally asked about was just a small electronic component and not part of a complete measuring system, so maybe we need to look for a more readily available sensor that cna be interfaced easily to the LOGO!. This one is also for mounting in a duct for air-conditioning and is probably quite large - I think the original request was for something smaller. http://content.honeywell.com/sensing/prodinfo/humiditymoisture/009012_2.pdf This one looks similar to the original resistance type, but behaves like the one that ROSA suggested and therefore the Gain & Offset calc I did for that sample should work for this one! I think... problem solved ! Aaaarrgg! |
