Analog output from 1215c dc/dc/dc to frequency converter.

sagvang Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi. I have a problem needing an answer. I have the 1215c CPU with the 4-20mA analog output, and Im going to control a Schneider Frequency converter. I know I have to use COM and Analog Input 3 on the converter, but i dont know what to connect to what on the PLC. Any help??

You can find the S7-1200 manual here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109772940 The partial connection diagram is: So I assume you need X11/2M to COM and X11/0 to AI3. Note that the analog output regulate between 0mA and 20mA. That means you will not use the range 0mA to 4mA. Have a look at the functions NORM_X and SCALE_X as described in the manual or in-software help. The number ranges are mentioned in the manual.
