ANALOG SENSOR 0..10V MAX DISTANCE FROM THE PLC

Dear all, I am to connect an analog sensor of output 0..10V to my S7 1200 CPU. But I want to know the maximum distance you can suggest for me that must be between my PLC and the sensor... I am trying to avoid voltage drop along the way...The maximum distance is not specified in the manual for the sensor...  Thanks.. Hope to hear from you soon.

how long  do you need the distance between PLC and sensor?

A serious suggest is only possible if we know more details of the environmental conditions.
Are there frequency converter or cable with high current and more?

The impedance of a analogue input is mostly over 100 kOhm.
Normally is the voltage drop not the problem, mostly the interference of other systems like high current cable and more.

Please think about a transducer to convert the voltage signal to a current signal like 4..20 mA.

I have selected as an example a CPU 1214, with 2 onboard analog inputs 0-10V.

The shelded twisted-pair cable length of 100m is quite standard for voltage signals.
