Analog value come multiply by 10

RAJKIRAN Silver Member Joined: 8/18/2009 Last visit: 6/17/2024 Posts: 548 Rating: (33)	Dear Expert, In our system we used Analog module (6ES7 331 1KF01 0AB0). but due to some problem in module, value is not showing so we replaced same new analog module then it showing value but multiple of 10.. means prevoius temp show 68 now we get 680... we are not chenged any setting in software so why this value showing multiply by 10. Any hardware setting required here in module... Please suggest....

Suppose that your temp. value is 35.4 Deg. You will recieve on AI channel 354. (i.e. the actual value multiplied by 10) To display it in HMI or to work with temp. in your software, you will have to move this value to DI (Double Integer) and then convert DI (double integer) to (REAL) value. Thus why values are multiplied by 10 for temperature. Hope this helps.

Hello RAJKIRAN, It is normal. You do not have problem with this reading. What you have to do as I told in my previous post to to divide the reading by 10. Just move it to DI & convert it to real and then devide it by 10. Normally for temperature readings, you have to set in HW config. the input type (PT100,...etc) and you recieve the physical value muliplied by 10. Thus is healthy as I explaned to you before. But with other Analog values like volt, mA,..etc. The analog value send a value between 0 - to - 27648 which should be scaled using FC 105. Hope it helps.
