Analog value conversion with profibus

Hello,

I have a dcm 6ra80816ds22 connected via profibus to a s7315 plc. I use telegram 999. All is working ok.

Now I have to send motor current to the plc.

With r27 in p2051 i receive current value 100A-16384. If current go up to 200a 16 bit is not enough so i have to use p2061 but i'm not able to understand how to make conversione.

Can anyone explain me or give me a link to some cleat document?

4000HEX = 16384DEC = 100%

For a doubleword value:

40000000HEX = 1073741824 = 100%

But my problema is : with r27 in p2051 i receive 4000h for 100A . With r27 in p 2061 i receive 4000000 for 100A. how is it possibile to receive 280A (my motor nominale )???

you have reference parameters

So if your reference current is 100A, you would get 4000HEX at 100A.

But you can change the reference current - for example to 280A. So you  would get 4000HEX at 280A.

There is so much information to digest.  It took me about 1 year just to feel like I know what I was kind of doing.

One of the things that is not intuitively obvious but completely necessary to understand is the separation between SINAMICS controller and SIMOTION controller (in the D series).  They are totally separate and linked only by Technology objects. 

Looks like your problem (scaling) is in the SINAMICS controller, which is a CU320-2 without the EPOS control.

Start with the Basic Technology manual then look at the Axis Technology manual.  After that, you can progress to Gearing, Camming, Path, etc.
