analogoutput card problem

Sindhu@keas Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	we are using analog output card sm332(6ES7332-5HF00-0AB0).using faceplates from wincc flexible,in manual mode(PID Blocks in step7),we force a value. the problem we face is for the first 4 channels(CH0-3),we get values measured from loop calibrator. rest of the channels(CH 4-7) we get 131% of current output,open loop indication appears. wHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? SHOULD WE GIVE 24V DC to the terminals 21 and 40 also?

Terminals 21 and 40 are unused, so no extra power needed on these terminals. You will see that, if the board inputsare configured for Voltage output, the 4 last channels have a kind of read back inputs (S+, S-). These signals must be wired in that case, else the card overcompensate thinking there is an open loop). How are the channels configured?

SHOULD WE GIVE 24V DC to the terminals 21 and 40 also? if your connection is proper than you can give direct count values at output. Means 0 count for 4 mA & 27648 for 20 mA.
