I have to ask you something. I have in my mind to develop a little app in Android where I want to design a "miniScada". The app will run it on a tablet and I want to connect my tablet to Scalance module(wi.fi) and control my Plc and the entire process. Is that thing possible ?

yes it can be made, question is what system you'll select. You can use user defined communication or some SW/library prepared for this (Libnodave,...). At your Android side think what interfaces you have available, so due this info you can easy select protocol. I was prepared this kind of application some time ago with very good results. Area cover all HW - from S7-200/1200 to S7-400 with defined communication HW.

                Very Happy to hear . How can we communicate Android app to PLC or Anyother 3rd Party Controller . Is there any Separate Dedicated Protocol can use . Rite now any demo App is available for tested application . 

              We can able to control and monitor data's , also able to program edit in PLC..

no one protocol what we don't know - TCP  If you can prepare communication with this protocol on both sides, you have all what you need, if we talk about user defined communication. In some cases no problem implement also Modbus, but this is same like in standard situation, simply if you don't have some other protocol available, you must implement it for yourself. Also experience with other kind of high programming languages is big advantage, on Android side. Then Java is not hard to understand.

                        I think you have worked S7-1200 to Android app . Is there any programming backup and same as Mobile application .

Also with the help of Webux functionality of SCADA , you can access scada with any browser on phone, tablet , pc etc.

Also with the help of Webux functionality of SCADA , you can access scada with any browser on phone, tablet , pc etc.

                  I have Installed Smart Client in my Mobile . And how can i connect to HMI to Phone . I mean, How  can i link Hmi to Mobile Throw cable or Anyother .??

                          Is this app only to link HMI ?? Is there any other User manual . .

How do you want access HMI? Thru intranet(local net) or internet.

If its intranet, i mean within plant only if want to see HMI screen on mobile via app then you need one wifi router which should be connected to all simatic devices via ethernet connection.

Now wifi routher having wired ethernet input and output as wifi having fixed ip of same network and subnet of PLC , HMI devices.

Now you need to start wifi of mobile and connect with wifi router.

Once connection is establised then just open the sm@rt client app and click on"+" sign and add HMI connection by provide IP of HMI(Bydefault port is 5900) with valid password for remote connection ,which is mention in HMI control panel.

Before that thru software u need to enable sm@rt service and download in HMI. Once downloading completed then open control panel of HMI , go to web conn and define the valid password for remote connection and start sm@rt client service.

Check with PC via sm@rt client software by conneting HMI to PC. Once everything is working then try with mobile app as mentioned procedure in documentation.

Now if you want to access HMI over internet then you need static IP at server side. For security reason we have to create VPN tunnel between plant network and Internet connection.

                       All The HMI we can connect to SM@rt Client . Because am Using KTP400 -6AV2 123-2DB03-0AX0 . In this I cant able to Enable to Sm@rt Service With TIA V13 . .

In TIA Portal V14 Image for Basic PAnel 2nd Generation you could use the Sm@rt Server functionality !

Its a new feature in this Version of TIA Portal.
