Hi Patbacarde It is possible, that you overload WinCC. You create more then 2x30 manuell value-reguests. I thing, its a better way to create 60 variables in the Tag Management and read out the value of them. More then 30 IOfield are a lot and more then 30 scripts are a lot too. You can just try it, but not on a plant. Whitch version? What do you want to do? I thing, you should do it in an other way. regards cumulus |

Hi Patbacarde Did i understand you right, there is only one scondary machine linked to a pimary machine and you switch to the other machnies when you need. all secondary mashines can be linked to all primary mashines. Oneoption is, to select to scoundary mashine in the primary mashine and send only the the 11 variables to WinCC. You write the 11 variables in an DB and look to the DB with WinCC An other option is a indirect adressing of the IOFields. That can you use when all variables of the scondary machines a available. herethe link. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/34602491 How do you switch between the secondary machines? I hope you understand my ideas. regards cumulus |
