Anyone can advise on DB_NO and DB_NO_LEN

borient Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	borient I am working on a S7-300 system but face some problems. My configuration is two sets of S7-300 315-2DP and two sets of ET200M. When I include the SWR in OB1, I have the following error: "STOP caused by STOP command Breakpoint in user program. Startup OB(OB100) Priority class: 27 FC number: 100 Module address: 2720 Previous operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart) Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) Internal error, Incoming event." I think I may have mistake in OB100 setting but just can't figure out. Could anyone help to identify the problem or provide a workable sample program? Thanks ahead. Thanks for the concern. Had been working hard and finally managed to solve the problem by changing the DB_NO and DB_NO_LEN to 0 instead of 50 and 1. Anyone can advise on these two functions? Splitted from S7 300 Software Redundancy Problem.

Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi well in SWR, the db_no is the starting address of the redudant user db, the db_no_len is the lenght or the number of db after the starting redudant db say for and eg: by DB number starts from 20 and the number of db are 45 then DB_NO is 20 DB_NO_LEN is 45 (You should count from 20 till the end of your db used) be carefull call the db that are used in redudant use program only. Have fun...
