AOP30 with CU310

Drives_Coach Posts: 133 Rating: (12)	I connected an AOP30 (6SL3055-0AA00-4CR0) up toCU310 DP (6SL3040-0LA00-0AA1) with firmware version 2.5 and was able to use the operator panel in vector control mode but it did not seem to work right with servo mode (stopped at initialization:660). I upgraded to V2.6 and now works in both modes. I only checked the basic functionality (communicating, commissioned drive, ran in local mode) but it seems to work. I also tried a CU305 DP from the S110 line and the software did not seem to support this as I expected. In any event with the S110 or S120 drives I prefer to use the SIMATIC HMI panels as a Class II master and utilize the direct connection to the drive over Profibus.
