This application example shows you how to set up a hardware in the loop scenario. Using SIMATIC or SIMOTION controller, SIMIT Unit, SIMIT and MCD you can simulate and validate your user program Entry ID:109758739, Entry date:08/31/2018 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109758739 |

To my understanding, the link provided above (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109758739) is the application example for software in the loop. Hardware in the loop is here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109758739 My question for HiL: Is there a TIA Portal reference project with a 1500 SIMATIC controller instead of SIMOTION? Or do users need to create that from scratch? |

Thanks for this Hint. I have changed the URL above. HiL with SIMATIC instead of SIMOTION works in the same way. It is not planned to upload a TIA portal reference project for HiL demonstration with SIMATIC. If you use SIMATIC controller i would recommend to use PLCSimAdvanced and SiL. |
