Area pointer in Step 7 V12 SP1.

I come from Step 7 Professional I'm finding the new TIA platform really complex when doing simple things like comparing an instance area in the DB with a constant.

If I have a STRUCT filled with some BOOLEANS for example, I want to make a compare of the whole STRUCT if all BOOL's are false, in Step 7 Professional i can simply write:

L DIW10 //Start adress of my struct.

L 0

I==

JC _001 //Jump to execution if compare is OK

Is this possible in some way?, and how do I use pointers?

I also find it hard to zero data areas with a constant, like clearing the instance DIW10 (As above). In step 7 professional I can easilly use the fill function to clear a data area with a tag that's always zero, but here I've only accomplished to reset (Move) an init STRUCT (that's always zero) to the struct I want to clear, but doing it this way means that I always need to have an init copy that has the same structure of the STRUCT i want to clear.
