arithmetic (Logo SW) and mathematical functions (manual)

Dear experts,

I have the Logo SW V8.2.1 and in the drop down menu only arithmetic functions and not mathematical ones as in the manual and the online help. I would not care for names but the SW does not let me use outputs of other function blocks as variables but only fixed numbers between -32000 and +32000. How come ?

many thanks for your quick answer, the Logo I have selected is 8FS4, the most recent one in the devices list. OK, I try again to be as unambigous as possible:

the manual and online help say in ch. 5.3.38: the parameters V1 - V4 can also be an actual value of other function blocks

Logo SW V8.2.1 offers for those V1 -V4 only fixed values and nohting else (no values of function blocks)

any idea why ?

just one addendum:

I tried the parameter connections and it worked as I wrote fine

but when I i. e. use the output of an analogue multiplexer as the timer input (TH, TL...) of an i. e. wiping relay the timing magntude automatically switches to ms. This restricts the usability considerably: is this a bug ?

I also thought it would work that way, I get the arrows in the parameter i. e. "T" but if I click on it I do not get the drop down menu, very strange, I include my tiny program; do you get the menus ?
