As-i 4 In 3 out repetitive failure

M.Turnbull Regular Member Joined: 12/2/2010 Last visit: 1/19/2025 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi, i am currently using the As-i bus 4 In 3 out module with the part code (3rk2400-1fe00-0aa2) and have had 2 faults within a 24 hour period on the same system, both times the unit has been at fault and had to be replaced. The unit is used in conjunction with a Translyft table which lifts pallets onto a conveyor. I have put the unit onto a spare lift table on a different cell to replicate the fault and found the following: - Running Asi module = Asi Light (Solid Green) Power Light (Solid Green) In 1 Light (Solid Yellow) Failed Unit 1 + 2 = Asi light 1 (Flashing Green) Asi Light 2 (Flashing Red) Out 1 (Solid Yellow) On the failed unit due to the fault the lift table is being told to raise (Out 1) Do you have any idea what would cause the unit to malfunction in this way and what the fault lamps symbolise? Any assistance would be greatful and i appreciate the time spent Kind regards Michael

Please contact the international Customer Support by the use of the link on the top right side of this page, called Support Request. I am certain they may provide you more information. If you check the manaul: System Manual AS-Interface (Edition 11/2008) with Supplements (Edition 09/2010 - for displaying and configuring see Entry ID 44365425 ) you will find at page 174 the following fault inforamtion: Sensor supply overload (Slave is in RESET mode and switches off completely) to solve this the following is recommended: Unplug the sensor cables from the input sockets, user sensors with a lower overall current consumption, check the sensors/cables.
