Au2Mation Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi People, Anyone knows if the AS-i cable which code is the following: 3RX9010-0AA00 AS-I CABLE,TRAPEZOIDAL has this cable, any UV protection in order to put the mentioned in outdoor places? Thank's in advance.

Interestingly enough, there's no real useful specification about this in theIKPI catalogue and the website spec does not specifically list the UV rating but instead states simply "conditionally resistant" under "Ozone and wheather resistance" (have a look HERE for more). Possible not the answer you were seeking and I suggest you get in touch with your local Siemens rep to get abetter answer. I hope this helps

HermannE Posts: 25 Rating: (2)	Hello Au2Mation, follow you find our statements for UV-Protection. As-Interface cables 3RX90 are resistant to ozone concentrations as encountered in central Europe. The colour stability of PUR- and TPE cables is better than that of the normal rubber cable. Yellow rubber cables get a reddish colour in the long run. Test results for rubber cable 3RX9010-0AA00 regarding ozone resistance according to DIN VDE 0472, part 805, Test mode A: No tear, slight colour change on yellow coated cables Flammability has been approved according to Anl. IEC 707, FH 2-25. See too FAQ 25171087 Best regards
