It's about ASI BUS, I want to know how to config and program it.

asi master Bwu 2238 (bihl+wiedeman)

slaves "ifm electric "brand

I havn't done such a configuration. But I think it should work.
By the way, ... which CPU do you want to use?

At the bihl-wiedemann page there should be the discription and the GSD-File of the asi master Bwu 2238. (Sorry got no login for bihl-wiedmann pages so I couldn't check the content of the documents)

Within your PLC the Device must be configured. Please check this document to make the device availabe within your configuration: What can you do if required modules are missing in the module catalog of the STEP 7 hardware configuration?

I'm familar with installing and configuring the gsd file ,so I did it. But I can't undrestand the concept of addressing .what is the relation between the addresses  in gsd and the address of Asi slaves?

so I'm sorry for my first basic reply. 

The relation between the I/O adresses and the address of Asi slaves should be specified within the documentation of the module I think. Do you have such a document?

Please publish a screenshot of your hardwareconfiguration done with STEP 7. Hope someone could find some hints.
