AS-i System:Interfacing IFM's RFID with Siemens As-i Dual Channel Master

In As-i Network, I'm installing SlimLine Modules S45 & K60 Compact Modules on AS-i System.Also this AS-i Network consist of IFM's RFID Read/Write Modules (P/N:DTA200) . I want to know how can i configure IFM's RFID Read/Write Modules (P/N:DTA200) in simatic manager? Pls note, i'm not using IFM's AS-i Profibus Gateway in system configeration. Reply!

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, as i understood, the DTA200 is a "normal" AS-i Slave. So in the HWKonfig of STEP 7, in the Folder PROFIBUS-DP > DP/AS-i Link > DP/AS-i Link 20e > <MLFB> there are default AS-i Slave, which you can bind to the DP/AS-i Master via Drag&Drop to the adapted AS-i Adress. The AS-i Slave has in his properties the tab "configuration" to define the slave as a Siemens-As-i Slave or as "universal". With "universal", you can define the IO code, ID code and so one... Is it that you want to know?

Can you share any sample program if available with you OR can you help by giving the step by step procedure of configuration. As I see in hardware configuration, there are several options avalaible to select IO code and ID code.
