Ask for ResourceList property - not getting the String Name

Thanks for the information,

When i ask for ResourceList property i get a code name "1.258.x.0.0.0" of the Text List and not a String Name ??? Whats means that code?

HMIRuntime.UI.SysFct.GetPropertyValue("Symbolic IO field_2", "ResourceList");

i'm not sure if i understood correctly, but maybe this helps:

With following Script you can read the Textlist Text for a specific index and specific language:

HMIRuntime.Resources.TextLists("TextListName").Item(IndexNumber).Item(1033);

 1033 is the Language ID for English. The Indexnumber can be a Tag that you read or a specific number.

Hi, thanks for the answer, however I’m trying to do something else:

• I have 2 Symbolic IO Field
• The first one with "Resource List" named "TestList_1"
• The second one without "Resource List"

I can read the selected index in the first one without problem, but what i want is to use this index to select the correct property "Resource List" in the second one.

To do that I want to use the SetPropertyValue on ResourceList property.

HMIRuntime.UI.SysFct.SetPropertyValue("tlActionsModul", "ResourceList", 'value_here');

If I write invalue_herethe name of the correct Text_list doesn't work.

My work around solution was:

• To know how to write the name correctly I read the same Property withGetPropertyValuewith the surprise as result that the Resource list name is: '1.258.18.0.0.0'
• So, I figure it out the "code name" of every Text list that I needed and used in my script. Not nice but it works.

Back to my original question:

What’s means this code number in Text_list? Can anybody see a normal way to do it, without work around? So far works but it is hard coded, not flexible.

i just tested with V17. Following Code worked for me:

HMIRuntime.UI.SysFct.SetPropertyValue("ObjectName", "ResourceList", "RuntimeName::@Default.TextListName");

RuntimeName typicly is HMI_RT_1 if you did not change.
